Mbale High Court Circuit Bids Farewell to Justice Namundi
Stakeholders in the Justice joined Mbale High Court Circuit to bid farewell to outgoing Head of Circuit, Justice Godfrey Namundi at Mbale Elgon Hotel.
The Chief Guest is the Principal Judge, Hon Justice Dr. Flavian Zeija who commended Justice Namundi for a job well done in organizing the Circuit.
"I thank Justice Namundi for dedicating 41 years of uninterrupted service to the Judiciary. You joined the Judiciary as a young man in your youth and you have left the Judiciary as an honourable senior citizen.
I thank you immensely for your long service to the Judiciary and for the leadership rendered to this circuit from the time of deployment until your recent retirement."
He also commended Justice Namundi for improving case management and lobbying for land for the regional Court of Appeal.
The Principal Judge urged the legal fraternity to emulate the Judge and leave a positive image. He also captioned the Judiciary staff against mis behaviour.
Speaker after speaker praised Justice Namundi for being a role model, a mentor to many and a support to teams in the justice chain.
During the dinner, several gifts were given to Hon. Justice Namundi wishing him a good life in retirement.
